RING

Poland

This mans roots are a mystery. He came to the United Kingdom from Kronjin, Poland, somewhere about the turn of the last Century.

He arrived, it is believed, in Manchester and could speak no English. When asked his name, through a number of gestures and taking off and pointing to his wedding ring, he made the authority accept him as Harold Ring.

Whether this means that his name in either Polish or Yiddish was the same as ring or not it is impossible to say at present.

There is much that is needed to know about this man and his family roots. Your help would be appreciated. Any information please to:-
